about

the EP is essentially a cautionary tale of innocence, from obvious links to naivety and childhood to more recent struggles. i really wanted it to be something that people could relate to, because we’ve all been hopelessly innocent at some point. plus, because this will be my first ever EP (i’ve previously just released singles), and i wrote, produced and mixed every song on it, i wanted it to show the start of my journey as a self-made artist. i might look back on it and think “oh my god this is terrible!”, but right now i am definitely proud of what i’ve achieved and the fact i had the guts to even do it knowing myself, so that’s all that matters.
