'orange roses’ has definitely been a labour of love for me. it's the first happy song i’ve ever written - about being in the honeymoon phase of a relationship, where every second apart from that person is just about missing them. i started writing the song before the pandemic, but then when it hit and i was forced to live away from my other half for months, the meaning became something entirely different. i know a lot of couples have had to be apart from each other due to coronavirus, so 'orange roses' will be something for those people to relate to, as well as anyone who has experienced those intense emotions at the start of a relationship.

big thank u to my twin sis martha for slaving away at animations of me and taking beautiful pics for this release, and to my matty - my muse, my rock, i love u heaps and heaps and am forever indebted to u for making u listen to every re-mix and re-master of this song for over a YEAR and never getting sick of me :')
